Joshua (Josh) Reece is a member of Fleischner Potash’s Insurance Coverage Practice Group. He evaluates potential coverage claims made against commercial general liability and excess policies. Josh has previously advised insurers with respect to long-tail, marine product, and environmental claims. He has also represented insurers in post-arbitration coverage disputes.

Josh will also be applying his vast expertise to Fleischner Potash’s Defense Practice Group.  He has represented hotel and storage companies in commercial litigation; manufacturers and retailers in product liability and toxic tort litigation; hospital systems in mass tort and medical liability litigation; and law firms, attorneys, and accountants in professional liability litigation.

Josh authored "The Brave New World of New York Insurance Disclosure," which detailed the changing insurance disclosure requirements mandated by the New York Comprehensive Insurance Disclosure Act (CIDA) of 2021 in New York.

Josh’s diverse background allows him to assess both coverage and defense issues simultaneously and develop multifaceted defense plans and evaluations.

Outside of the office, Josh is an accomplished musician.  Before his career in law, Josh was trained as a classical pianist and was awarded third prize in the renowned Zimmerli Piano Competition.
